St. Lucia
Overview
The island of St. Lucia is in the southwest part of the Caribbean Sea. Castries is the country's biggest city and capital. Before the British or French took over the land, the Kalinago people lived there. In 1979, people got their freedom from Great Britain. The temperature stays between the mid-60s and the high-80s all the time. From January to April, it's dry, and from May to November, it rains.
